PRACTICE INFORMATION

Feedback and reviews

You can speak up without pressure to make your counselling experience public.

01 / YOUR FEEDBACK IS YOUR CHOICE

Your feedback is your choice

Feedback helps The Counselling Wollongong Studio improve safety, accessibility and the experience of counselling. You are not required to provide feedback or a review. Choosing not to do so will not affect access to care, fees, scheduling, referrals or the therapeutic relationship. No rewards or incentives are offered for reviews.

02 / PRIVATE FEEDBACK AND COMPLAINTS

Private feedback and complaints

This separate form opens on Jotform. Opening it does not send information. Review the form’s privacy and safe-contact information before deciding what to share.

Open feedback, complaints and privacy form

You can raise a concern directly in counselling. You can use the separate feedback, complaints and privacy form. The ordinary service-enquiry form is not being substituted for that route. When the separate form is available, start with a brief description, what you would like addressed and a safe way to contact you; avoid unnecessary clinical detail.

The practice will consider your concern respectfully, clarify what you want to happen and explain the response. You can ask for an alternative way to communicate or involve a support person, subject to privacy and consent arrangements.

The practice has enabled encryption and notifications for the feedback form. Notification contents, delivery and account-specific information handling have not been independently tested. Anonymity is not promised. If you want to give feedback without identifying yourself, review the form’s information-handling notice before sharing details. A response or investigation may be limited without enough information.

03 / PUBLIC REVIEWS AND CONFIDENTIALITY

Public reviews and confidentiality

A public review can reveal your name, photograph and connection with counselling. Avoid identifying another person, including a partner or family member, or sharing sensitive details. This website does not ask clients for testimonials or display clinical testimonials.

The practice will not confirm a therapeutic relationship in a public response. Any response will be brief and general; sensitive concerns are better handled privately. If identifying information appears publicly, moderation or removal may be requested through the platform, but removal cannot be guaranteed.

A review reflects one person’s experience, not a promise of a particular result. You should never feel pressured to publish a review.

04 / FURTHER HELP WITH A CONCERN

Further help with a concern

You may seek advice or complain to an appropriate professional, health, privacy or consumer body without first resolving the matter with the practice. Which body is appropriate depends on the concern. See the privacy complaints information for privacy matters.

Neither feedback channels nor public reviews are emergency services. If there is immediate danger, call 000 or attend an emergency department.
