PRACTICE INFORMATION
Terms and conditions
Using this website, making an enquiry and understanding the service.
01 / ABOUT THESE TERMS
About these terms
These proposed terms relate to The Counselling Wollongong Studio website. They are separate from any counselling agreement, informed-consent process or appointment arrangements. The practice is operated by RCS-Health trading as The Counselling Wollongong Studio, ABN 61 529 395 719.
The Studio’s focus is counselling for couples, individuals and families. Family therapy is offered for ages 11 and over, subject to suitability and appropriate consent arrangements. This does not establish an age rule for every service. Counselling is not an emergency service, a formal psychiatric diagnosis, or a medico-legal or forensic reporting service.
02 / NOT AN EMERGENCY SERVICE
Not an emergency service
Do not use the website, enquiry form or email for urgent help. If there is immediate danger, call 000 or attend an emergency department. Online messages are not continuously monitored.
03 / GENERAL INFORMATION, NOT PERSONAL ADVICE
General information, not personal advice
Website information helps explain counselling and available approaches. It is not tailored advice, a diagnosis or a substitute for an assessment by an appropriately qualified professional. Reading this site or sending an enquiry does not establish a therapeutic relationship. No particular counselling outcome is guaranteed.
04 / ENQUIRIES AND APPOINTMENTS
Enquiries and appointments
The enquiry link opens a separate Jotform form. Submitting it does not guarantee acceptance as a client, availability or a booking. An appointment is confirmed only through the practice’s agreed confirmation process. Delivery can be affected by technical problems; if you have not received a response, you can make a follow-up service enquiry through the enquiry form.
Provide accurate contact details and indicate a safe way to reach you. This website does not take payments or complete appointment bookings. Fees, session arrangements, suitability, confidentiality and cancellation terms need to be explained and agreed before counselling begins.
05 / RESPECTFUL AND LAWFUL USE
Respectful and lawful use
Do not interfere with website security, seek unauthorised access, send spam or use the service to distribute abusive, discriminatory or otherwise unlawful material. Access may be restricted where necessary and lawful to protect people or systems.
06 / CONTENT AND EXTERNAL LINKS
Content and external links
You may read, download or print material for personal, non-commercial information. Other uses require permission from the relevant rights holder unless permitted by law. Illustrative photography does not depict clients or demonstrate therapeutic outcomes.
Linked services have their own terms and privacy arrangements. We cannot guarantee their availability or content. This does not remove any responsibility that the law places on the practice.
07 / PRIVACY, ACCESS AND CHANGES
Privacy, access and changes
Read the Privacy policy, Accessibility statement and Refunds and cancellations policy. Use of this website does not replace consent that may be required for handling health information.
We aim to keep information accurate but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Information and these terms may be updated; an update does not retrospectively change an agreed appointment fee or remove your rights.
08 / YOUR CONSUMER RIGHTS
Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees. Australian law applies. These terms do not impose a blanket indemnity or require you to give up lawful complaint options.
For service questions, use the enquiry form. For feedback, complaints and privacy requests, use the separate feedback, complaints and privacy form.
